Hello Everyone! Mindy here with you today sharing a Chick themed card that I created featuring the Super Adorable Petunia- Chicken Tales Stamp Set from Sassy & Crafty Stamp Co.! To create my wood grain texture, I cut a strip of chipboard and used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add my base shading. I then placed the the Party Time Stencil over the chipboard strip horizontally. Next I used a pallet knife with black gesso to add the darker pattern details. I just Love to use the stencils in new and creative ways to add extra dimension and texture to my projects.
