Hello Everyone! Mindy here with you today to show you how to create this Valentine Mini Album using the super Adorable Unicorn from the New Love Critters stamp set from La-La Land Crafts.

Patterned Papers and Die Cuts from the December 2017 Card/ Project Kit
Step-by-Step:
Step 1: First cut and score the mini album pages, decorative mats, and spine to the following measurements:
Pages: 6.5"w x 4"h (cut 6 from Chipboard) score at: 1/2" on the 6.5" side.
Spine: 1 1/2"w x 4"h (cut 1 from Pattern Paper) score at: 1/2" and 1 1/8" on the 1 1/2" side.
Large Mats: 5 3/4"w x 3 3/4"h (cut 12 from White Cardstock)
Small Mats: 5 3/8"w x 3 1/2"h (cut 12 from Pattern Papers from the December 2017 Card Kit.)
Then place your Small Mat pattern papers into the order that you want them in your album and corner round all of the edges that will be facing towards the right edge of your album.
Go ahead and also round all of the right edges of the Pages and the Large Mats as well.
Step 2: Use a ruler to mark 1/2" on the top and bottom of each side center of the spine, and then use a hole punch to make a hole at each mark as illustrated below.
Step 3: Use a ruler to mark 1/2" on the top and bottom along the left edge where the score line is on each of the 6 pages. Then use a hole punch to make a hole at each mark as illustrated in the photo below.
Step 4: Ink all of the edges of the Pages, Spine, Large Mats, and Small Mats with a blending sponge and Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.
Step 5: On the front cover Small Mat use the Heart Banner Die cut as a mask. Blend Distress Ink in Picked Raspberries onto only the top portion of the Small Mat. Once you remove the mask your mat should look like the photo below. Do not throw away the die cut mask as you will also use this as an accent die on your front cover.
Step 6: Cut the Heart Puzzle, Heart Globe, Small Envelope, Heart Garland, Heart Doily and Stitched Tags dies from various pattern and plain card stock to use as embellishments for your album cover and pages as shown below. I also used the printed vellum Love from the December 2017 Card Kit as well as some of the various Printed Die Cuts from the Kit.
Step 7: Add your large and small mats to each page alternating leaving the tops or sides open for a tag pocket. Next add die cuts to embellish each page and the album cover as desired. Below are a few examples of how I decorated the pages in my Mini Album.
Step 8: I then stamped the Adorable Unicorn from the Love Critters onto 110 lb plain white card stock and colored her in with Copic markers. Once I was done coloring, I then fussy cut her out and attached her to my Mini Alum cover with foam tape.
Copic markers used:
Unicorn: R35, RV04, RV21, RV000, B05, B12, B00, Y17, Y08, Y00, 100, C7, C5, C3, C1, 0
Heart: R59, R35, R22, R20, 0
Step 9: To finish I layered the pages on top of one another and then folded the spine over the left edge of the album lining up the hole punches. I then strung red heart ribbon through all the holes and tied a bow to bind my album pages.
